i am looking at buying a evo ix (for those who don’t know, it is the quickest car under 50K) and i am just wondering how to save some money on car insurance. should i be listed as a part-time driver with a parent, as i am only 20 yrs old. ????
I work at an insurance agency. Your best bet is to be on your parents’ policy (but this is only possible if you still live with them). If you are still in college, having a B or 3.0 average or above might qualify you for a good student discount. Higher deductibles will pull in a lower premium, but you’ll have to pay out more in the event of a claim. Keep a good driving record – no speeding or accidents.
